The Woodlands Resort is located on the North shore of Plum Lake in beautiful Vilas County, Wisconsin. A large shallow, sandy beach and swim raft will provide many hours of fun in the sun. Nearby nature trails guided by the DNR provide a pleasant way to observe and experience the local flora and animal population. Besides being a premium water sport area in the summer, fall is the time for color gazing and hunting, winter is a busy time for snowmobiling, ice fishing and sking. A major cross-country ski and mountain-bike course is less than 4 miles away. Sayner, St. Germain and Boulder Junction abound with unique gift shops, fine restaurants and family attractions.
