The Woodlands Resort is located on the North shore of Plum Lake in beautiful Vilas County, Wisconsin.  It shares a rich history with the surrounding area as one of the original family resorts which populated the area in the early 1900's.  The resort includes 7 country homes, completely modernized for your comfort and convenience.  They are nestled on the shore among towering pines, hardwoods and evergreens.  A large shallow, sandy beach and swim raft will provide many hours of fun in the sun.  At night enjoy a bonfire on the beach under the stars.  There is a playground for the kids and a fish house to clean the day's catch.  For more information on activities available on the resort and in the area, please see "things to do."
